IGTV can maximize your Instagram engagement

One of the better users of IGTV as a platform is the food publisher Thrillist. They are flexible and willing to use any new platforms that come along in order to see what engages followers the best. They've found a formula that works with IGTV: Use interesting visuals, make sure the text is similar to a post header, and have strong content that users want. This led to less polished photography and more realistic posts. As they crafted headlines this resulted in the creation of a hashtag rather than only using the same phrasing in titles and posts. The hashtag keeps the content connected so users can link up to posts by searching for #forkyeah.
