"It's on Facebook so it must be true!" This seems to be the normal mindset of social media users these days. But what happens when the news is about your health? Pinterest, a common platform for sharing ideas ranging from cooking recipes to House DIY to birthday party ideas and more, has started to limit the search for health related topics. The searches spcifically addressing vaccine safety will only link to qualified and reputable health sources rather than just a mommy blogger site.

While this seems a tad "big brother-ish" to me, I also see the value in making sure misinformation isn't spread using a social platform and in turn creating panic and ultimately resulting in spreading disease.
